PARENTAL REFUSAL OF IMMUNIZATION
The approach of a health care professional to a parent who refuses immunization of his or her child is complex and should be based on the reason for the refusal and the knowledge of the parent. Suggested responses to parental refusals of immunization of children are outlined as follows 1:
