Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection

Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection. This low magnification micrograph of a skin biopsy depicts histopathologic changes indicative of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS). This micrograph reveals the presence of a well-delineated cellular infiltrate located in the dermal layer of this skin biopsy specimen, which was determined to be a Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) lesion in this AIDS patient.
