Trichinellosis (Trichinella spiralis)

Trichinellosis (Trichinella spiralis). Larvae of Trichinella spiralis in skeletal muscle biopsy. This disease is acquired by eating undercooked meat, usually pork, containing encysted Trichinella larvae.
