Pityriasis Versicolor (Tinea Versicolor)

Pityriasis Versicolor (Tinea Versicolor). Pityriasis rosea with herald patch in the inguinal area of the child in images 136_16, 136_17, and 136_18. Because the herald patch precedes the widespread eruption, it may be mistaken for tinea corporis, though a potassium hydroxide preparation would be negative.
