Blastocystis hominis Infections

Blastocystis hominis Infections. A, B, C, D: B hominis cyst-like forms (trichrome stain). The sizes vary from 4 to 10 µm. The vacuoles stain variably from red to blue. The nuclei in the peripheral cytoplasmic rim are clearly visible, staining purple, in B (4 nuclei).
