Syphilis
Syphilis. This patient presented with a papular rash on the sole of the foot due to secondary syphilis. The second stage of syphilis starts when one or more areas of the skin break into a rash that appears as rough, red or reddish brown spots both on the palms of hands and on the bottoms of feet. Even without treatment, the rash clears up spontaneously.
