Rat-Bite Fever. Five days after being bitten by a rat the child developed fever, chills, and headache followed 5 days later by a papulo-vesicular rash on the hands and feet. Streptobacillus moniliformis was isolated from blood cultures and he responded to intravenous penicillin therapy without complication
